Hi Colin,
It wIll be great to meet at the event. Please round-up your 164 buddies as I am certain there are some excellent examples that have been well preserved by their owners, and I think it is great to have these cars taking the limelight for once. We will send you a pdf to print off and use as a screen display to assist MITCAR marshals in directing the Type 4s to our location. A little nearer the time please make certain that I do not forget to sent it to you! You can forward on to your 164 mates.
Cheers,
Themaphile

Hi,

I will put a post on the forum I was a member of when I had my 164 cloverleaf (4+ yrs ago) and see what feedback we get. Unfortunately I think interest in 164's has dwindled as many have moved onto the 166's now but I still recieve emails of the odd post - so its worth trying.

Cheers

Hi,

I have posted on the cloverleaf Forum but not holding out much hope as the has not been many post for months which is a shame as it was a really active Group a few years ago.

This is an important point to all us Thema/Dedra Owners on this Forum - PLEASE makesure you contribute if at all possible even if its just to comment. I really don't want it to go the way of the Cloverleaf group as an active Group/Forum really helps to keep these superb vehicles on the road.

Anyway I have requested that the Cloverleaf users have a look here and might be an option in future to include 164/Old Croma users as their vehicles are so similar in many ways. I have owned all three now so not just mnaking that statement up :-)

Cheers

Any further forward in deciding a venue for this yet? May be able to make it depending on where/when it is.

Hi, The TDC are definitely going to attend the MITCAR event, and we will make the Sunday our main day for attendance. I am hopeful that other type 4's will attend, but reagrdless the TDC will be present on Sunday, 8th August. Quite a few TDC members have displayed an interest in attending, and the details will be in our next Newsletter. The LMC have been informed of the event. Hope to see you there. I hope to have my 8.32 with me. Been a while since we last met!
Best wishes,
Themaphile

Hi All,

As it is now geeting close to MITCAR can we please have a hands up as to who definately plans to attends the event.

Obviously I will be there :) and staying over in a travelode hotel neary (10 mls) on Saturday night. So if people wanted could meet up to turn up in convoy if any LMC people feel like it. Did this with about eight 164 cloverleafs at main alfa show a few years ago and it was great with us all getting lined up in a great spot :-)

Anyway lets find out who is going.

Cheers

Alas I have no Thema and no Dedra worthy of running yet. HOWEVER, I will happily attend to fly the flag and meet the friends and fellow enthusiasts from the TDC.

I also think it would be a great oppurtunity to pass on, flog on and swap spares etc so perhaps everyone can fill their boots and rear passenger seats with all their unwanted bits for everyone to browse?

Not sure about staying over. Will check with wife and bank manager and kidney dialisise vacancies as it sounds like a jar or two might be downed that evening.

Looking forward to it.

Hi Brian,

Shame you haven't got one on the road yet but will be great to see any Lancia enthusiasts there (especially TDC members) and should be a great venue by all accounts.

I wasn't implying anybody should stay over at the hotel, just that it might be good to meet up somewhere first and enter in a convoy of Lancia Themas/Dedras assuming enough Consortium Members are going. I will be there with my Wife, so very unlikely to be downing pints and talking Lancia's of an evening, unless I want to end my life early :-)

Cheers
